“Raptureday” is a website dedicated to proclaiming the near return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the signs and events which indicate His coming and the order and sequence of such events, especially the calling and catching away of His true Church, known as the “Rapture”.

This site is part of the Christian service of Brian and Gilly Gemmell who reside in York in the U.K. and are part of the Starbeck Mission Church in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Before becoming an itinerant teacher Brian was the worker and one of the pastors/elders of the Mission. Brian serves on the National Council of the Prophetic Witness Movement International and is part of its teaching and ministry team, but this site is entirely separate from P.W.M.I. and views expressed on it do not necessarily reflect that of the Movement or its Council but the teaching that Brian shares throughout the U.K.

There are many excellent Eschatological sites online but many have a cultural slant as a result of their home base in the United States of America. This site aims to reflect a more British perspective, whilst working in harmony with brethren overseas and providing links to them.
Raptureday works with Two by Two Worship, from Chesterfield U.K. who are responsible for the recording and production of CDs and DVDs of Brian’s Bible teaching

Raptureday exists to help, equip and support believers in the Lord Jesus who are expectantly awaiting His return, inform and convince those who are unaware of these truths or are confused but enquiring about eschatology and to use such truths amongst unbelievers to draw them to the Lord Jesus and convict them of the urgent need to be right with God. Proclaiming the wonderful news of Salvation through the Lord Jesus’ finished work on Calvary’s cross is a vital part of this work.

The site also exists to promote the study of matters of Biblical Chronology, such timing of events as is revealed by the Scriptures, so as to highlight the shortness of the time remaining before the coming Judgement, and the urgency required in human response. Maranatha!

The site does not aim to change the opinions of true Christians who hold different views on end-times   matters and details of sequence, timing etc and does not enter into debate or controversy on the minutia of these things. But as a Biblical site and stands resolutely against the apostate heresies of Replacement Theology, A-millennialism and denial of the literal interpretation of the Word of God.
